Blush

Like foundation, choosing the right blush depends on your complexion. Powder blush is the most versatile, and can be used for all skin types, but is really the only choice for oily skin, blemish-prone skin, or skin with large pores. The Nature of Beauty carries a number of excellent powder blushes, including Revolution Organics, Zuzu, Alima, Couleur Caramel, Jane Iredale, Logona, and Sante.

For normal or dry skin without blemishes or large pores, there is an additional option (although powder blush still works very well). Bronzer

Best suited for summer months, bronzer gives the skin a healthy summery glow without the sun damage. It can also be used year round, however, as a contouring shade under the cheekbones and jaw line, on the “four corners” of the face, or on the sides of the nose. For those of you with paler complexions, be sure to choose a bronzer that is more pink than brown, or your face will look dirty.

Couleur Caramel's unique, long-lasting and versatile baked bronzers come in a variety of shades and are a makeup artist favorite. With just a hint of shimmer, they will warm the complexion and give the face a subtle glow.

For medium to darker complexions, Logona's bronzing powder gives a gorgeous, overall glow, and can be used on the neck and chest area as well as the face. Similarly, Alima's matte finish bronzing powder in Mauna Loa is an excellent loose powder that will also work on all but the lightest skin.

Jane Iredale's bronzers are a favorite of the media. Moonglow is the most popular, and is ideal for light complexion. So-Bronze 2 is best for medium to dark skin and has both a shimmery and a matte side so you can customize your look.
